New telescope to replace Hubble..

Filed under: Uncategorized — jigarme @ 1:51 pm

Perhaps they need replacement for lovely Hubble !! that would provide much more functionalities.

BBC News has an article detailing NASA’s replacement for the much-loved Hubble telescope. The $4.5 billion telescope will be placed in orbit 1.5 million km from Earth and will be almost three times the size of the Hubble. It is set to launch in 2013. They also plan to service the Hubble in 2008.

In 2013, 6 years to go !! I dont know where I will be, and where technology would be at that time (may be we will have AI and technology involved in each and every task we do, robots will be serving us.. Day dreaming)..

Anyways, Stay tuned.. Wave
